Regina Humane Society signature events are held each year to help raise awareness, advocate and fundraise for the over 4,000 animals that pass through the doors each year. We are thankful for the many supporters, participants and guests who help make these events a success.
Cathy Lauritsen Memorial Golf Classic presented by CGI
Held in mid June each year, the Cathy Lauritsen Memorial Golf Classic is an opportunity for participants to enjoy a day of golf, dinner and a silent auction while helping homeless animals. It also honours the memory of Cathy who served as the longtime Executive Director of the Regina Humane Society before passing away in 2002.

Dog Jog presented by K-Lane Kennels
The Dog Jog is held the first Sunday of May and officially kicks off "Be Kind to Animals Week". Held in beautiful Wascana Park participants and their pooches walk around the lake in support of the animals at the shelter. By collecting pledges from friends, family and co-workers Dog Jog participants helped raise over $45,000 in 2010!
Garden Party
The Garden Party is a unique event that combines an informative evening on gardening and horticulture with entertainment and a silent auction. While guests sit back and enjoy their decadent desserts they also enjoy collecting gardening tips from renowned experts. This event is held in May each year at the Hotel Saskatchewan.
